Dear Partner,
We have a unique opportunity to let our voice be heard in regards to an upcoming bill being written by Senators Rockefeller and Hutchison on the subject of protecting Low Power Television (LPTV) broadcasters to include: LPTV, Class A, and TV translator stations. This is a subject that is very important to us as we are a Class A, Low Power Television (LPTV) broadcaster.

We are asking for you to stand behind us in this matter by letting both of these Senators, as well as your local Senators, know the importance of free television and that you support legislation that allows LPTV broadcasters to have flexible use of the spectrum they are currently licensed. Unless the proposed language of the bills before Congress are changed, thousands of small stations, like your Watchmen Broadcasting, TV-49, would effectively be confiscated by the government without compensation and sold at auction for broadband use.
